More than 40 of Bangkok’s most successful men revelled in luxury and refinement as Country Group Development hosted its inaugural Gentlemen’s Night at the Sales Gallery of Four Seasons Private Residences Bangkok on 7th October, 2015. What awaited the eponymous participants was an elegant evening awash with quality, the creme de la creme and more boys toys than you could shake a Cuban cigar at.

The event was created to highlight the Gentlemen’s Corner at the highly anticipated Four Seasons Club, a rooftop triplex spanning over 1,300 sq.m on levels 64-66 and set to feature world-class facilities such as a glass-walled wine cellar, cigar lounge, billiard table, private screening room, golf simulator and Bangkok’s tallest residential infinity pool (fully serviced by Four Seasons).

Partners in the event’s inaugural edition, who presented private showcases to each gentlemen present, tailored to their taste and history, included Diageo (Blue Label Whiskey), Pendulum (high-end watch dealership) and Havana Cigars. Pendulum and their Managing Director Yuki Srikanchana presented timepieces from A Lange & Sohne, including a private viewing of the 1825 Toubillion Platinum valued at THB 6,525,000.

Noppadol Naruetakkakul, Board Member of Leela Lifestyle Co., Ltd., the distributor of Brioni, showcased the shortcut to being splendidly stylish, revealing what goes into creating the pinnacle of men’s luxury suits and demonstrating the true meaning of bespoke. Brioni’s signature Italian couture style that has been well accepted by individuals such as US President Barack Obama and Daniel Craig in James Bond.

Jenarong Phumjit, the cocktail guru from Diageo Whiskey joined the evening to offer tips on pairing cuisine with high-end whiskey, offering exotic combinations including ‘Terrine Foie Gras Marinated in Sweet Wine and Herbs Served with Chocolate and Mixed Vegetables’ and ‘Soft Boiled Organic Egg Served with Lentil Nut Stew and Truffle Mushroom’, paired with Johnny Walker Blue Label. The evening, as will come as no surprise to a true gentleman, concluded with cigars, courtesy of Thailand’s first cigar importer, Nontiwat Prapanont. The Board Member of Siam Havana Cigar handed around selected handmade cigars which have never been sold in Thailand: the Nicaragua, Joya de Nicaragua - Antano 1970 Consul, which scored 95 out of 100 from Cigar Insider Magazine.
